Job Scope:
- Reports to the Vice President, Wheel Loaders.
- Provide product marketing and sales support to the field sales and dealer organizations in North America for the sale of wheel loaders.
- Collect, compile and analyze information on market conditions, competitors, and equipment performance for reporting and guiding dealers and sales organizations on potential product sales.
- Maintain knowledge of product, product development and performance.
- Maintain knowledge of competitor product lines, competitor retail pricing and resale values, product development and related options and services.
- Perform market studies, sales forecasts and assist with the preparation of sales literature.
- Support active participation in the selling cycle including but not limited to key customer visits, bid evaluation and completion, and pricing strategy.
- Train, demonstrate, and distribute marketing materials to dealers, to field sales organization and to key customers for promoting features and benefits vs. competition on products.
- Participate in development and implementation of annual corporate and product marketing plans.
- Prioritize and organize marketing activities and projects.
- Assist with new product launches.
- Assist field sales organization and dealers with application and product technical questions.
- Plan, support and carry out demonstration programs and specific customer events.
Experience / Education Required:
- Minimum of 3-5 years sales/marketing or product/application experience in construction related equipment.
- Ability to communicate effectively on both technical and business issues at a variety of levels.
- Ability to conduct and lead sales and marketing product training.
- Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field.
- Foreign language skills a plus.
- Ability to travel 50% of time.
