As a key executive, the Transportation Division Director will have tremendous visibility inside and outside their organization. The selected candidate will need to leverage the current team of 75+ professionals to expand the business and develop new markets for continued growth. Job Scope:
- Responsible for the strategic business initiative and execution of the business plan to achieve growth, profitability and business integration nationwide.
- Achieve objectives consistent with established core values and ethics.
- Develop and execute a business development plan designed to achieve consistent double-digit revenue growth.
- Actualize key financial performance indicators supportive of operational profitability.
- Negotiate and administer all contractual obligations.
- Direct responsibility for quality of technical services including the review of technical reporting.
- Oversee human resource functions such as staff recruitment, employee retention, and training.
- Control and mitigate professional and technical risks.
- Interface with clients and provide technical consultations.
- Performance Criteria: Operations Performance, Leading Sales Efforts / Annual Revenue Growth, Recruiting & Team-Building, Increasing Market Visibility.
Experience / Education Required:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
- Professional Engineer certification preferred (must have ability to obtain within six months of assuming position); post graduate experience a plus.
- Demonstrated general management and business development experience, with an emphasis on evaluating past profit & loss performance.
- Established relationships with relevant DOT agencies.
