<p><strong>The Role:</strong></p>
<p>As the Managing Director this executive must provide leadership to position the firm as a leading supplier of engine and machinery and services in North America.  The Managing Director will work closely with the company’s board to align the business for maximum success while upholding the firm’s long-held, core values.  This individual will serve as the visible lead manager of the North American business and foster a business environment that is both nurturing internally and competitive with the market externally.  The Managing Director will develop intimate B2B relationships with key executives with customers and partners.</p>
<p>Ultimately, the Managing Director will be responsible for identifying and implementing sound, profitable business strategies and best practices for the region.  This individual must be hands-on.  He or she will set short and long term goals and define the strategies and design the roadmap for achieving them.  He or she will be directly involved in the design and implementation of all sales and marketing plans for each business line.  The Managing Director will be directly involved in preparing budgets for approval by the board.</p>
<p>This Managing Director will drive the business on many levels and will assess the talent in the region’s various departments ultimately making any necessary, critical personnel decisions that will directly impact the future, long-term success of the business.  He or she will conduct routine meetings with Vice Presidents and department heads to review the corporate goals and clearly communicate the target objectives.</p>
<p>The successful candidate must be able and willing to travel frequently to visit customers and potential work sites and to directly build relationships with customers and partners.  This executive must have proven experience working in a fast-paced environment while still maintaining a high level of personal excellence and expecting the same standards to be upheld by all team members.  He or she must set the bar for the business and must build a collaborative, cohesive leadership team.</p>
<p><strong>Scope:</strong></p>
<p>- Lead the entire North American business and serve as North America’s most highly visible company executive with customers and partners.<br />

Our client is searching for an experienced human resources professional who will join as the Vice President of Physician Recruiting.  Headquartered near Chicago, our client is a leading national provider of non-surgical, out-patient medical procedures.  Launched in early 80’s, the firm is currently undergoing major national growth.  They currently operate 50 clinics in 14 states that include Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, and Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.  In addition to expanding their current footprint, they are also going into new markets that include Colorado, DC, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Texas. </p>
<p><strong>The Role:</strong></p>
<p>As the Vice President of Physician Recruiting you will oversee all physician recruiting on a national scale.  The successful candidate will be an experienced, proven hands-on individual who has outstanding experience recruiting within the healthcare industry, and who has developed strong relationships with physicians. This is a unique opportunity to not only lead the physician recruiting practice but to expand upon current processes and drive growth.</p>
<p>This person will be viewed as the physician recruiting guru and must have a strong sense of the market. The ideal individual must excel at working in a fast-paced environment and will need to be thinking one step ahead of the game at all times.  He or she will be meeting with corporate staff weekly to discuss candidate pipeline and overall recruiting efforts and therefore will need to be a strong communicator and well organized. As poor hiring decisions are extremely costly, this person will lead the efforts to implement effective methods and processes to reduce intangibles and advance recruiting results. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client is a newly formed company created to develop one of the world’s largest undeveloped nickel, copper, cobalt and precious metals mines in North America. It is the largest new mining project being undertaken in the US in the last 100 years. The company was formed by a joint venture between a Canadian mining company and one of the world’s largest copper producers. $130 million to be spent over the next three years to advance the project to a bankable feasibility study (BFS) and permitting. It is expected that the total capital required to develop this project through detailed engineering, construction and commissioning will be about $4.1 billion. In order to succeed, our client is building an outstanding organization to lead this effort. As a result, the company has identified the need to recruit a number of senior executives and specialists, one of which is a Vice President of Environment and Sustainability.</p>
<p>Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, the Vice President of Environment and Sustainability will have a mandate to develop, execute and manage the implementation of a strategic environmental plan and the permitting strategy. This strategy will establish the base that supports the company&#8217;s development plan and contributes to the overall strategic goals that ensure high environmental performance in a timely way. Reporting to this person is the environmental manager and as well as several outside consulting firms. <p>Situated in the Boundary Waters Wilderness Area, this geography is in one of the most pristine and environmentally sensitive areas in the United States. It is also ideally suited to mining with the appropriate infrastructure already in place; power, railways, roads, an international port and an eager labor force. Additionally there are six taconite mines, which provide over 70% of the United States iron ore demand. As a direct report to the CEO, this individual will feel the direct pressure of demanding clients, high internal expectations, and a commitment to excellence that is absolute. The successful candidate will need a high level of personal toughness to confront non-performance in the department, mentor staff, and hire and retain exceptional talent. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our client is a leading national provider of non-surgical medical solutions and is headquartered near Chicago.  The firm was founded thirty years ago and continues to uphold high standards with respect to performance and corporate integrity.  The firm currently operates over 40 clinics in 14 states and is experiencing rapid expansion.  Strategic plans call for adding 10-15 new clinics annually over the next 5 years.   They are expanding the business both in their current footprint as well as in new markets that include California, Colorado, Massachusetts, New York and Texas.   The success of the company and their ability to hit their strategic growth plans relies on the performance of the Vice President of New Clinic Development.</p>
<p>Our client is seeking a Vice President of New Clinic Development to oversee and manage its national real estate operations.  Real Estate development experience in healthcare or related sectors is a must.  This position requires a successful track record of overseeing rapid growth and a national rollout.  Experience with siting, project management, permitting, negotiating, construction and purchasing is needed for this dynamic role.  Establishing and driving best practices coupled with a strong business strategy will be required. Compelling written and verbal presentation skills are a must as this individual interfaces regularly with corporate executives, senior ranking physicians and the investment community. This hire must be able to travel frequently to visit potential sites and build strong relationships with the physicians in the area. This highly visible position reports directly to the CEO.</p>
<p><strong>Job Scope:</strong></p>
<p>- Identify, research, prioritize and develop new clinic opportunities.<br />
- Create and manage project pipeline matrix.<br />
- Drive lease negotiations, permitting, construction and procurement for all project sites.<br />
- As a member of the overall leadership team, report all key business metrics to provide maximum strategic effectiveness.<br />
- Meet all stated monthly and quarterly business objectives.<br />
- Pro-actively identify and mitigate issues and delays, and nimbly devise solutions and/or course corrections.<br />
- Manage, train and mentor staff.</p>
<p><strong>Education / Experience Required:</strong></p>
<p>- Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.<br />
- 12 to 15 years of experience developing clinics, ambulatory surgical centers, professional services or retail stores.<br />
- Experience managing cross functional teams.<br />
- Ability to negotiate leases, contracts, and other procurement agreements.<br />
- Extensive project management experience.<br />
- Ability to travel on a frequent basis.</p>
